What's With "Hey, Sunrise EP"

I never expected that this would happen. I mean, an album? Crazy! Everyone's dreamed of one including me! And this project would never happen without my awesome friends who helped out through and through and the families who've been our backbones since day one. Up until now, my mind still can't process how incredible this is.

What's with the "Hey, Sunrise EP"? What's with these songs? What's with this album? Personally, I don't know. As an introduction, I've said in this blog that my life was not an open book for every one to read. It was hard for me to open and tell stories about myself or what I've been through or going through. Until now, it's tough. If I could just open up the words in my mouth. But I can't work that way. It's through these songs that I can tell anything I want to. So, "Hey, Sunrise EP" is basically a compilation and chosen set of songs that was written through tough times, easy times, happy times, hard times and struggling times. It's the songs of a teenager, a young adult, going through life's adventures. Facing crossroads and challenges. 

I really don't know what to say. But what's coming in the next part...it's gonna be an album, FOR SURE. To anyone who bought this CD, you can hear our crazy, awesome "drum kit" that was played on a "keyboard" and honestly it's really crazy, hard and fun at the same time! The next album will be full of songs and experience. Songs of life, of truth, of pain, of grace, of hope and hurt, of desperation and optimism or pessimism. Maybe songs that you can relate to or not. So, to make this project possible, we are encouraging everyone to pray, support, love or in any other way to make this project possible...drum kit, cymbals, studio, productions, finances and etc. I want to honestly tell you that we are struggling with technicalities and stuffs. But what we have is a hope that's been tested and proven throughout the years.

Friends, you can help. This is not for us or for fame, money or power. We do this because we all have lives to share. A journey to ride. A wave to endure. 

What can I say? "Hey, Sunrise EP" is an adventure. And so is the next album! I am hoping that we will venture into this together and this EP will be the start of our friendship.
